Look at these beautiful campari tomatoes! They were on sale at a local grocery store for $0.99/container. I think it was a 1 lb container. I topped it off with a balsamic vinegar glaze and fresh basil from my friend's garden. Yummy! It was a nice summer treat!

How do you make a balsamic vinegar glaze?
I do not really have a recipe, but I used a non-stick pan. Poured about 1/2 c balsamic vinegar in a pan and simmered it on low heat and added granulated sugar (1/4-1/2c) until the sugar started to break down and thicken the balsamic vinegar.
But only do this if you are using an average flavored balsamic vinegar. If you are using a expensive high quality vinegar, I wouldn't make a glaze out of it.
