News!

I was debating whether to share this news on my blog because I am moderately against posting extremely personal information on the Internet. That's kind of difficult when you have a blog, but since this is an important part of our lives, I'd like to announce that Mike and I are expecting a baby this summer!
We're a bit apprehensive, but are extremely excited about it all! We know that our lives are going to change...big time!

There is so much that I want to share, so we will be including snippets here and there on the blog. The check-ups and tests lead us to believe that the baby is healthy and I've been on track with the weight gain. I've been feeling good so far and have still been able to participate in fitness classes and am walking up two flights of stairs each day at work and at home (I think I might have a breakdown the day I cannot make it up the stairs and have to take the elevator).

We cannot wait to share it all with you, and if the blog posts stop in a couple of months, you'll know why.  We'll see if I'll still be as ambitious about the whole baby food thing next year after the lack of sleep kicks in.

Wish us luck on our new big adventure-Parenting!

OMG so exciting!!!!! I'm a bit behind on the blog as you can tell but am so jazzed for you. Can't wait to see what the little bundle of joy looks like (adorable I'm certain). Seems appropriate for an avid baker like yourself to have a bun in the oven, amirite? :)

Thanks again everyone! Baby is still doing well and no gestational diabetes!
Erika-ha, yeah bun in the oven. sort of random info-i made cinnamon buns the other day and Mike thinks that it may have been one of the only cravings that I've had thus far. Although I do not think it was a craving. If it was, I would have just bought one instead of having dough rise twice.
