Mike

Hi. I am Mike, Lauren's new husband. I don't think that there are any old husbands out there, but you never can be to sure...... Just kidding. Anyway, I'm writing because I'm going to be blogging with Lauren. It's on my list of things to do to keep me from getting bored here in Champaign. I've never been much of a diary-keeper/writer/conversationalist, so we'll see how this goes. Lauren says that I should write about my food and cooking likes. Here they are:

Things I like to eat: good food
Things I like to cook: good food to eat

I'm sure you'll figure out more about me as we blog more. I don't have a picture of myself handy right now, but I'm sure I'll pop up somewhere. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself!

Congrats on your wedding and good luck with the grinds in this culinary wasteland we call IL.

I live part time in Northern IL and part time in Makiki/Punchbowl and just recently started reading your blog (came over from K&S). I really enjoy reading about the food adventures from back home.

Aloha!

Mike ... continue to fall back on your "I didn't take many notes in college" defense! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that Lauren doesn't realize that although she's winning the "who can write notes at the highest rate" game, she's actually losing! Keep on bloggin' I look forward to more of your counterpoint!

Keane,
I appreciate the support, but do you actually think I could win at something like that? I'll post an official score later, but while Lauren was "studying" (reading blogs, checking email, etc.) I wrote most of the thank yous. Just finished (I think) today, and I beat her about 3 to 1.
